A. MAGIC-E7 is a multipurpose 4-axis CNC engraving machine that supports diamond scribing, CNC engraving, and cutting in one machine.
It can process flat items and cylindrical items such as rings and bangles. Applications range from jewelry engraving and production to nameplates and personalized gifts.
A. You can engrave the inside and outside of rings, add text and logos to pendants and medals, engrave nameplates, and cut metal sheets.
For example, you can engrave a name or special date on a pendant, or cut a metal sheet into a custom shape to create an initial necklace. Suitable jigs and accessories also allow you to work with items such as bracelets and pens.
A. MAGIC-E7 can be used with various metals, including gold, silver, brass, copper, aluminum, and stainless steel. It can also process non-metal materials such as acrylic, plastic, wood, and carving wax.
However, a material suitable for scribing is not necessarily suitable for milling or cutting. Select the tool and machining method according to the material’s hardness, surface finish, thickness, and desired result.
A. The two methods differ in how the tool works and the finish they produce.
Choose diamond scribing for fine lines on the surface, and CNC machining for material removal or cutting.
A. You can select the following tools according to the job.
| Tool | Main application |
|---|---|
| Diamond tool | Scribing text, logos, and patterns |
| V-cutter | Engraving text and outlines by removing material |
| End mill | Milling and cutting |
| L-shaped tool | Scribing the inside of rings and bangles |
Choose a suitable tool for the material and desired result, and use the appropriate machining settings.
A. MAGIC-E7 uses MagicEngrave, the dedicated engraving software.
You can edit designs, set the engraving position, and generate toolpaths to prepare engraving and cutting jobs.
Before starting, make sure the tool selected in the software matches the tool installed in the machine.
A. The built-in camera allows you to adjust the size, position, and angle of your design while viewing an actual image of the workpiece.
This makes positioning easier, especially for items with irregular outlines, such as pendants.
A. No. The laser pointer on MAGIC-E7 is a positioning aid used to check and adjust the engraving location.
Engraving and cutting are performed using CNC tools, such as a diamond tool, V-cutter, or end mill. MAGIC-E7 does not provide laser marking or laser cutting.
A. Yes. MAGIC-E7 has a built-in rotary clamp as standard.
You can work with cylindrical items such as rings and bangles without installing a separate external rotary unit. Select suitable chuck fingers, jigs, or optional accessories according to the size and shape of the workpiece.
A. Yes. You can engrave text and patterns on both the inside and outside of a ring.
The actual machining range depends on the ring’s diameter, width, thickness, and shape. Make sure the ring is securely clamped before starting.
A. MAGIC-E7 provides automatic measurement of material height and tool length using sensors.
This reduces the setup work needed to establish the machining reference height. For accurate measurement, secure the material firmly and keep the measurement area and tool free of chips and debris.
A. Yes. You can use an end mill to cut metal sheets into the desired shape.
The achievable cutting thickness and processing time depend on the material, tool diameter, cutting depth, and clamping method. Therefore, the same cutting thickness and settings cannot be applied to every material.
Even thin sheets must be secured to prevent lifting or movement during cutting. Use a cutting jig suitable for the material and job.
A. In addition to the standard flat clamp and built-in rotary clamp, optional accessories are available for different workpieces.
Some accessories are sold separately. Before ordering, confirm the configuration suitable for the size and shape of your workpieces.
A. No. A dust collector is not required.
However, some jobs, such as acrylic engraving, can produce chips that scatter around the work area. If acrylic engraving is your main application, we recommend using the dedicated dust collector. It helps collect these chips and keep the machine interior and surrounding workspace clean.
A. Before starting a job, check the following:
Before machining, use the preview or position-check function to confirm the working area.
A. After use, remove chips and dust from inside the machine. Prevent machining debris from building up around the clamps and rotary system.
Keep the areas around the camera, laser pointer, and measurement sensors clean. Regularly check tools for wear and damage.
Stop the machine and switch off the power before cleaning, changing tools, or carrying out inspections. Refer to the manual for detailed maintenance procedures and inspection intervals.
